KwaSizabantu Pre-school, Schulzendal
Malelane KSB Mission creche begins 15 January 2010
Though the mission has been caring
for orphans and has been helping with a Kindergarten, the official opening of the building
for the KwaSizabantu Pre-school, Schulzendal, was on January 15 2010. There are 61
children, most of whom are orphans. Under the present government policy orphanages are
forbidden so the children go back to their "extended" families every afternoon
at 1:30. The Creche begins at 8am and 2 meals are served during school hours. Sharon Powys
is the principal and there are 4 teachers and 2 staff members (who help with cooking for
